Children build and program robots with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime and work with word-based blocks in the app. They work with movement, sensors, and logic and learn to control their robots in a targeted and precise manner.

The Prime level consists of three modules — Motion, Sensors, and Logic. These modules can be taken in any order and together form a complete Prime learning pathway.

At this level, children learn about robotics and programming in a playful way with the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics kit. They build different robot models, work with multiple motors and sensors, and learn to control their robots using word-based programming in the LEGO SPIKE app.

The Prime level consists of three modules — Motion, Sensors, and Logic.

Each module has its own focus and can be taken in any order . Together, they form a complete Prime robotics program. After completing all modules, we would love to hear what you would like to see next.

Motion

Movement and control
This module focuses on movement: how robots move and how you can control that movement using code.

Sensors

Observing and responding
Here, children discover how robots can use information from their environment and respond to it.

Logic


Thinking and DecidingThis module focuses on logic: robots learn to make choices, repeat actions, and deal with situations more intelligently.

 

Robotics & Mechanics

Children work with the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime set and build various robot models with multiple motors and sensors. They discover how mechanical parts work together and apply principles such as gear ratios, levers, and motion to make their robots function properly.

By building, testing, and adjusting, children learn to create robots that respond specifically to their environment, while further developing their technical understanding in a playful manner.

Programming

Children program their robots using word-based blocks in the LEGO® SPIKE™ app. They work with logic, variables, and functions to make their robots move and react in specific ways.

Through testing and adjusting, children learn to build their programs in a clear and efficient manner and develop their problem-solving skills and self-confidence in a playful way.

Trial lesson and cancellation

New students can take the first lesson as a trial lesson. If you cancel within 48 hours after the first lesson, we will refund the remaining course fee, minus a €35 administration fee. After this period, the course fee is non-refundable.
