Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

We offer courses for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Currently, our program focuses on children ages 6-10 with LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential. We will soon expand to include classes for children ages 10-12, working with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robotics sets.
-
We have had some children who were almost six, and even for them the course proved quite challenging. In our classes, we work with LEGO® robotics sets and teach programming with blocks on Apple iPads. Both are kid-friendly, but still require some basic skills. In addition, the children work in pairs, which encourages cooperation. Our advice is to wait a while and try the course when your child is six years old or almost six.
-
No, there are no specific requirements. Our courses are designed for children of all levels, whether they are new to robotics and coding or already experienced.
-
Each course lasts 6-8 weeks, with weekly 90-minute lessons.
-
Children can build different types of robots, ranging from simple vehicles to more complex mechanical constructions, depending on their age and skill level. From simple merry-go-rounds and single-motor swings to more advanced minibuses and cabs with a color sensor, light matrix and even a gyroscope. Check out our Photos and Videos page on the website and our Instagram for more examples!
-
No worries! Our courses are suitable for beginners and we offer a step-by-step approach to familiarize children with the basics of robotics and coding.
-

Important: This arrangement applies to new participants only. Children who have previously taken a course are not eligible for refunds or trial lessons in subsequent enrollments.

Advanced level is for children who already have experience with LEGO® robotics, for example through previous classes with us or elsewhere (other schools, courses or clubs). Children who have completed our basic course can expand their knowledge here.
-
In the basic course, children use pictograms and icons for visual programming, so no special reading skills are required. In the advanced classes, students begin word-based visual programming (based on Scratch). Don't worry if your child is not yet a strong reader! They just need to recognize simple phrases, such as "start engine" or "when the color is," something most children 6+ pick up easily.
-
We work exclusively with high-quality, original LEGO® SPIKE™ robotics kits and Apple iPads for programming. All necessary materials are provided by us, you do not need to bring anything to class.
-
In our course, children learn to program with visual blocks, such as icons and icons, which is ideal for beginners. In more advanced classes, we move to word-based visual programming, similar to Scratch. These methods help kids understand the basics of programming in a playful way, without having to read or write complicated code.

We welcome all children, but we recommend thinking carefully first about whether the course is suitable for your child. Our teachers have no special training in guiding children with special needs, and the children work in pairs, which requires cooperation. It is important that a child feels comfortable in a social setting and is open to working with others, as is the case in regular school classes. If you have any doubts, please feel free to contact us to discuss whether the course is appropriate for your child.
