Course Content

Give your child a head start in technology! Help them develop logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and technical abilities for the future.

Learn to program in Python by building and controlling real robots with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime. A hands-on course in small groups (up to 7 children).

No programming experience is required. We'll start with the basics and learn, step by step, how to write Python code to control motors, sensors, and robots.

Language: Dutch & English

What will you learn?

  • Python Basics

    Variables, functions, loops, and conditions.

  • LEGO® SPIKE™ API

Program the motors, sensors, buttons, and the display.

  • Robot Challenges

Apply your code to increasingly challenging robots and tasks.

Programming with Python

Children make the transition from visual programming to Python (MicroPython). They learn to work with variables, functions, loops, and conditionals, and use the LEGO® SPIKE™ API to control motors, sensors, and the display.

By testing, improving, and expanding their code , they develop programming skills, logical thinking, and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Robotics & Mechanics

Children continue to build with the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime set and apply their knowledge of mechanics, motors, and sensors to create increasingly challenging robots. The focus is on combining smart robot design with Python code, so that robots can move, measure, and respond to their environment with precision.

By building, programming, testing, and improving, children develop both their technical understanding and their programming skills.
