Basic Level is designed for children ages 6-7 who are just starting out and have no experience with LEGO robotics. Here they learn the basics of robotics, with no previous knowledge required.
At this level, children will become interested in conscious exploration of the world, building robot models with their own hands, learning the basics of mechanics, using learned mechanisms to create their own robots, and learning the basics of programming with the block-based LEGO SPIKE Essential set.
Robotics & Mechanics
Children learn how robots work, what parts and sensors they use, and how to build and program their own models.
They also discover basic principles of mechanics such as forces, motion, gears and belts, and how they work together in a robot.
Programming
Children learn programming with blocks (LEGO SPIKE Essential), including movement, speed, repetition and the use of sensors such as the motion and tilt sensor.
They create step-by-step commands to make their robot move and react - developing their first algorithms.
Data
The 7 classes will take place on Saturdays in 2025: Aug. 30, 6, 13, 20, 27 September, 4 and 11 October.

Your child is also welcome to arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts.

Cancellation policy and trial period
We work with a trial period of two weeks. If you cancel before the third lesson, we will refund the money for the remaining lessons within a few days. This way you don't run any risk if your child finds the activity too exciting.
Note: This trial period applies only to new students who have not yet taken classes with us. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before class via email or our contact form.
