Advanced 2 is for children who Advanced 1 with us and are ready for the next step in their robotics adventure. In this course, we build on the skills developed in the earlier classes and delve deeper into mechanics, programming and robot design.

Advanced 2 is for children who Advanced 1 with us and are ready for the next step in their robotics adventure. In this course, we build on the skills developed in the earlier classes and delve deeper into mechanics, programming and robot design.
In this advanced course, children work on even more complex robot models and refine their programming skills with word blocks (based on Scratch). We explore new mechanical principles and introduce more challenging projects that encourage collaboration, problem-solving and creativity. Children learn to control their robots even more precisely and come up with innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Robotics & Mechanics
In this course, students expand their knowledge by building and programming more complex and advanced robot models with the LEGO SPIKE Essential set.
They are experimenting with new techniques and components to make their robots more efficient and versatile. At the same time, they study mechanical principles such as transmissions, levers and advanced motion techniques.
They learn how to apply these principles to build robots that are more responsive to their environment and can perform more sophisticated tasks.
Programming
Students strengthen their programming skills by expanding on what they learned in Advanced 1. The focus is on strengthening and refining their understanding of existing techniques. They continue to work with the word block-based programming language (based on Scratch) and improve their ability to write structured and efficient code. This helps them control their robots with more precision and creativity and further develop their problem-solving skills.

The 7 classes will take place on Saturdays in 2025: Aug. 30, 6, 13, 20, 27 September, 4 and 11 October.

Cancellation policy and trial period
We work with a trial period of two weeks. If you cancel before the third lesson, we will refund the money for the remaining lessons within a few days. This way you don't run any risk if your child finds the activity too exciting.
Note: This trial period applies only to new students who have not yet taken classes with us. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before class via email or our contact form.
