Advanced 3 is for children who have completed Advanced 2. We repeat the most difficult parts from previous lessons and build new, challenging robots with the LEGO SPIKE Essential set. Children deepen their knowledge of mechanics and programming and learn to design smart solutions more and more independently.
In Advanced 3, children get to work with new robot models while reinforcing their existing knowledge. We repeat and practice the most difficult concepts from previous lessons - such as programming with sensors and building complex mechanisms. At the same time, we challenge them with new designs that further sharpen their creativity and technical understanding. Thus, step by step they grow in their understanding of robotics and learn to think and build more and more independently.
Robotics & Mechanics
Children discover new models and mechanisms with the LEGO SPIKE Essential set, building on what they already know. We reiterate important mechanical concepts such as gears, levers, belts and forces, and apply them in more challenging construction projects.
They learn how to cleverly combine familiar parts to create robots that are faster, more precise or more powerful. By experimenting with movement and balance, they develop a deeper understanding of how robots respond to their environment.
Programming
We continue programming with the block-based environment of LEGO SPIKE Essential. Children repeat the most difficult programming components from Advanced 2, such as the use of motion sensors, repeats, speed settings and logic conditions.
They also learn to structure their code better and make it more efficient. By solving problems and programming their robots ever smarter, they build not only their technical skills but also their self-confidence.

The 7 classes will take place on Saturdays in 2025: Aug. 30, 6, 13, 20, 27 September, 4 and 11 October.

Cancellation policy and trial period
We work with a trial period of two weeks. If you cancel before the third lesson, we will refund the money for the remaining lessons within a few days. This way you don't run any risk if your child finds the activity too exciting.
Note: This trial period applies only to new students who have not yet taken classes with us. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before class via email or our contact form.
