Science and technology lessons at school

Engage elementary school students ages 5-12 in 5-10 weekly lessons of playful discovery, building and programming with LEGO® Education Science.

Our lessons align with the SLO core objectives for Science & Technology, and encourage curiosity, creative thinking and problem solving.

What classes include

  • Weekly lessons of 45-60 minutes, fully catered on location

  • Up to 24 children per class (4 per set - recommended for regular classes); also possible for smaller groups of up to 12 students (2 per set - ideal for plus classes, technology groups or after-school classes)

  • Practical and hands-on: build → test → improve

  • Science and engineering connected to the real world, completely screenless (programming with controllers, motors and sensors via LEGO® Education Science cards)

  • Integrating Natural Science and Engineering into every lesson

  • Experienced facilitators and complete teaching materials, including LEGO® Education Science sets

Core objectives (example)

Orientation to Self and World: Nature & Technology

  • 42: Students learn to investigate and practically experience materials and physical phenomena, such as light, sound, electricity, force, magnetism and temperature.

  • 44: With products from their environment, students learn to make relationships between function, form and material use, and discover how design choices affect outcomes.

  • 45: Students learn to design, implement and evaluate solutions to technical problems, with a focus on testing and improving their own creations.

Weekly on-site classes:

  • 2 lessons of 45-60 min per day: €450

  • 3 lessons per day: €650

  • 4 lessons per day: €850

Additional costs:

  • Travel costs: €1 per km from our nearest location (minimum €50).

Important conditions:

  • Lesson duration: 45-60 minutes per lesson

  • Program duration: minimum 5 weeks, maximum 10 weeks

  • Materials included: LEGO® Education Science kits

  • Not included (to be provided by school): screen or beamer for presentations; comfortable work space for students (preferably tables where 4 children can work together for classes up to 24 students, or smaller tables for 2 children for classes up to 12 students)
